Regional Police have identified a suspect in the robbery of a gas station in Halifax on New Year’s Day.
It happened just before 5 p.m. at the Petro-Canada station on Quinpool Road.
Police say a man entered the business, produced a knife and demanded cash, then fled on foot.
They’ve issued an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Shane Thomas Robinson.
He’s described as white, six feet tall, 180 pounds with short red hair and blue eyes, and a tattoo of a red star on the right side of his neck.
Police consider him armed and dangerous, and say anyone who sees Robinson should not approach him, but call 9-1-1 immediately.
Anyone with information is asked to call police or crime stoppers.
