AC/DC to play Magnetic Hill

AC/DC will be playing the Maritimes, but you’ll have to take a road trip to Moncton to go and see them.

The band announced today their ‘Rock or Bust’ world tour will play Magnetic Hill on September 5th.

Chris Slade will be on drums, returning to the band after Phil Rudd was charged with threatening to kill and drug possession in New Zealand.

This past weekend, AC/DC kicked of the 57th annual Grammy Awards with “Rock or Bust” and “Highway to Hell”, their first performance on U.S. television in over 14-years.

AC/DC last stopped in Moncton in 2009 on the Black Ice World Tour, which had the band playing to over 5-million fans in 108 cities in over 28 countries.

The venue hasn’t hosted a major outdoor concert since 2012 when Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played there.

Tickets go on sale Monday, February 16th.
