Gas back over buck a litre

Another week, another increase in the price of gasoline.

The price for regular self-serve jumped at midnight by 2.3 cents a litre to a new minimum price of 102.1

An even bigger jump in the price of diesel, regulated price increased by 4.4 cents overnight to a new minimum of 116.2.

At this time last year we were paying 1.32 for gasoline, 1.44 for diesel. Oil was trading at $97.66 U.S. per barrel, just under $46 per barrel less that yesterday’s closing price of $51.85.
