Revellers gearing up in green Saturday to celebrate their Irish, or Irish-ish heritage, are going to be disappointed.
Organizers of the annual Halifax St. Patrick’s Day parade have cancelled the event.
They say participants are concerned with being able to organize floats with the snow and ice buildup.
On their website, the Charitable Irish Society added sidewalks along the route are a mess.
