Moose select Arnaud Durandeau with 7th overall pick

The Halifax Mooseheads added some flash to their forward ranks with their first pick of the Q-League entry draft over the weekend.

The Herd selected 5’10” forward Arnaud Durandeau with the 7th overall pick of the draft.

Durandeau describes himself as someone who is a two-way player whose strengths are in offence, and can score goals.

With the 28th pick, the Mooseheads selected Lunenburg’s Walter Flower.

Flower is described as an all-around defencemen with an offensive mindset.

On the overall draft, general manager Cam Russell told The Chronicle Herald that his club managed to get all of the players they targeted at the outset.
