HALIFAX – Regional Police are investigating an alleged sexual assault after a woman said a man touched her at a bus stop in the city.
Investigators say a man approached the woman as she waited at a stop on Inglis Street near Tower Road at 10 o’clock Wednesday night.
They say the man made an inappropriate comment, exposed himself and touched her.
Police say a bus then pulled up and the woman got on while the suspect fled on foot.
He is described as a white man in his 40s, bald, clean-shaven with a thin build and wearing a grayish-green track suit.
Police say it may be linked to three similar incidents earlier this month that happened in the same area on Sept. 2nd and 11th.
Police are asking anyone with information about the incident to contact police at (902) 490-5016 or Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS.
