Brassard, Moose shutout Titan

BATHURST– The Halifax Mooseheads shutout the Acadie-Bathurst Titan Wednesday night with a final score of 2-0.
Goalie Eric Brassard was kept busy and made 33 saves in the Mooseheads’ victory.
Taylor Ford opened up the scoring in the second period with his first goal of the season after just 59 seconds. He was assisted by Cavan Fitzgerald and Timo Meier.
The second Mooseheads’ goal came from Otto Somppi midway through the third period, assisted by Arnaud Durandeau and Maxime Fortier.
The Herd will be back in action on Saturday, October 19 as they host the Titan at Scotiabank Centre.
