HALIFAX – It will cost you less to fill up your tank with gas in Nova Scotia heading in to the weekend.
The price for regular self-serve fell by 3.5 cents per litre overnight, moving the minimum price down to 94.5 c/L.
Diesel prices are also down Friday morning, after the province’s Utility and Review Board lowered the price for the fuel by 1.1 cents, to a minimum price of 98.9 c/L.
Last year at this time, Nova Scotia drivers were paying $1.22/L for gasoline, $1.24/L for diesel, and oil was selling on the markets for $82.68 US per barrel.
That’s $37 more than Thursday’s closing price of $45.60 US per barrel.
