DARTMOUTH – A former Halifax Mooseheads player has pleaded guilty to one charge of possession of cocaine.
Brandon Vuic entered the plea Tuesday at Dartmouth provincial court. Judge Alanna Murphy also gave Vuic a conditional discharge which involves one year probation.
The twenty year old was arrested Oct. 7th, 2014, after the car he was driving struck another parked vehicle along Freshwater Trail in Dartmouth.
Witnesses said they allegedly saw Vuic drop a bag containing one-half gram of cocaine after the incident.
Vuic still faces charges of impaired driving and having a blood alcohol above the legal limit in connection with the crash.
