HALIFAX – Regional police are looking for a suspect who robbed a TD Bank on Quinpool Road Monday night.

Around 6 p.m., police said a man entered the bank at Quinpool Road and Monastery Lane, where he passed a note to the clerk demanding cash and indicating he had a weapon.

The teller complied and the man fled the area on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police said officers and a canine unit were unable to track down the suspect.

He is described as a white man, about six feet tall, between 20 and 30 years old and clean shaven.

At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a grey sweat suit with a lime green and yellow pattern down both sides, as well as a light-coloured touque.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
