Mooseheads shut out in Baie-Comeau

BAIE-COMEAU — The Halifax Mooseheads were shut out by the Baie-Comeau Drakkar on Saturday night, 4-0.
Raphaël Santerre, Nicolas Leblond, Nicolas Meloche and Chad Pietroniro each contributed a goal to the Drakkar’s win over the course of the second and third periods. Keven Bouchard got a shut out with 41 saves.
The Mooseheads greatly outshot the Drakkar 41-21.
They now have a 9-14-3-1 record and are tied for 14th in the overall standings. They picked up 2 of a possible 4 points on their Quebec Roadtrip
The Herd will be returning to Halifax to face the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles on Tuesday.

Moose blank the Saguenéens
The Halifax Mooseheads blanked the Saguenéens in Chicoutimi on Friday night with a final score of 4-0.
Cavan Fitzgerald opened the scoring early in the first period followed by another goal by Cody Donaghey about seven minutes later.
Andrew Shewfelt scored a short-handed goal late in the second period to extend the Mooseheads’ lead to 3-0. Danny Moynihan scored on an empty net late in the third. Goalie Eric Brassard made 32 saves in the shut out.
The Mooseheads now have a record of 9-13-3-1.
They’ll continue their Quebec road trip in Baie Comeau on Saturday as they face the Drakkar.
