HALIFAX – Halifax Regional Police are investigating whether an incident where a man exposed himself on the Mainland North Linear Parkway trail Tuesday is related to two previous incidents from September.
Police said the latest incident happened around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, when a man in a wooded area near Montgomery Court Trail exposed himself to a woman as she was walking her dog.
The suspect is described as a white man, around 20 years of age, five feet 10 inches tall with a medium build. Police said he was wearing a black knitted-hat and a black hoodie with lettering on the front and dark-coloured pants.
Investigators are now looking in to whether this is connected to two incidents on Sept. 28.
Around 11:30 a.m. that day, a woman walking on a path near Langbrae Drive was approached by a man who exposed himself as he passed by.
The suspect in that case was described as a young white man between the ages of 15 and 25.
Police said a second woman later came forward to report a similar incident that happened earlier the same day, around 8:40 a.m., when she was walking on the Montgomery Court Trail off the Mainland North Linear Parkway.
She said a male between 15 and 17-years-old exposed himself to her on the trail.
He was wearing dark pants, a light coloured baseball cap and was also carrying a red GoodLife Fitness bag.
Police are asking anyone with information related to these incidents to contact Regional Police, and to do the same if they see similar suspicious activity.
