OTTAWA – Nova Scotia’s premier used a meeting with the prime minister to bring up the ongoing problems at Halifax’s Victoria General Hospital.
Stephen McNeil met with Justin Trudeau in Ottawa on Wednesday, telling The Chronicle Herald afterwards that the crumbling hospital was part of the discussion.
The Herald reports McNeil also used his time with Trudeau to discuss the shipbuilding contract, along with immigration and refugees. He said no commitments were made, with the discussion centred on informing the prime minister of the province’s needs.
