Gun, ammo and computers stolen from construction site

FALL RIVER, N.S. – Halifax District RCMP are investigating following a theft from a construction site in Fall River on Wednesday.
RCMP were called around 4:50 p.m. Wednesday to a construction site on Perrin Dr. to investigate a break, enter and theft after a trailer and excavator were broken into.
Investigators say a shotgun, ammunition and laptops were stolen from the site.
Police say two men were later spotted attempting to steal an excavator from another construction site located on the same road, two kilometres away.
RCMP suspect the two incidents are connected, adding Thursday that the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone who may have witnessed theft or anyone who saw anything suspicious along Perrin Drive Wednesday afternoon is asked to call the RCMP non-emergency line at (902) 244-7208, or Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
