Man charged with attempted murder in connection with stabbing

DARTMOUTH, N.S. – A man faces multiple charges, including attempted murder, in connection with a stabbing incident in Dartmouth.

On February 12, police responded to an incident on the 0-100 block of Thistle Street after a 26-year-old man had been stabbed.

He was transported to hospital with life threatening injuries.

Halifax Regional Police Police say 25-year-old Charles Henry Whebby of Dartmouth is now charged with attempted murder, unlawful confinement and possession of a weapon dangerous to public peace.

He’s was scheduled to appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court Wednesday.
