Missing Toronto man picked up in Truro area, charged

TRURO, N.S. – Colchester County RCMP have arrested and charged a missing Toronto man who was found carrying a concealed weapon in Truro Heights.

Police responded just after 1:15 a.m., Tuesday morning to reports of a man entering a business on Truro Heights Connector Road carrying a concealed weapon.

Police located and arrested the suspect a short time later.

Nineteen-year-old Colin Rogers was later identified as a missing person from Toronto and appeared before Truro Provincial Court Tuesday on charges of Possession of a Weapon Dangerous to the Public and two counts of Breach of Recognizance.
