Small drop in Nova Scotia’s gas prices

HALIFAX – A small drop in the price of gasoline has been recorded across Nova Scotia Friday morning.

Provincial regulated prices fell by roughly six-tenths of a cent at midnight, moving the minimum price to $1.02/L.

The same, however, cannot be said about diesel fuel as prices climbed nearly a full cent overnight, moving the minimum price up nine-tenths of a cent to 90.4 c/L.

At this time in 2015, drivers were paying $1.16/L for gasoline, $1.10 for diesel and oil was trading on the markets at $58.73 US per barrel. That’s just under $15 more than Thursday’s closing price of $43.92 US.
