Some heavy snowfall is expected today as a low pressure system moves in this morning.

Up to 20cm of snow will be possible though the snow is expected to change over to rain in the afternoon, which will also be heavy at times.

Heavy winds are also expected as a part of the storm. 

The daytime high will be 3C with the temperature holding steady near 1C inland.

The rain will continue into the evening and then changing to flurries overnight along with continued heavy winds.

The temperature will rise to 7C in the evening before falling to a low of -1C overnight.
