Fire destroys Head of Chezzetcook home

 A woman and man were not home at the time so there were no injuries but their mini-home was destroyed by fire last evening in Head of Chezzetcook, about 20 kilometres east of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Disaster volunteers with the Canadian Red Cross met with the couple today and arranged emergency lodging, clothing, food purchases and other support.

The fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at 61 Les Collins Avenue.
