New layout coming to Point Pleasant Park’s lower lot

Parking in Point Pleasant Park's lower lot will be limited for the next couple of months while it gets a new configuration.

Halifax Regional Municipality says construction is scheduled to start Tuesday and expected to go until mid-July.

Sections of the lot will remain open during the work, but some full closures may be needed. Drivers are being encouraged to park in the upper lot when possible.

The redesign will feature new sidewalks, asphalt and stormwater collection.
