Some of the most active companies traded Friday on the Toronto Stock Exchange:

Aurora Cannabis Inc. (TSX:ACB). Healthcare. Down 34 cents, or 3.53 per cent, to $9.30 on 19.3 million shares.

Trican Well Service Ltd. (TSX:TCW). Oil and gas. Down two cents, or 0.63 per cent, to $3.13 on 12.7 million shares.

Canopy Growth Corp. (TSX:WEED). Healthcare. Up four cents, or 0.10 per cent, to $39.32 on 7.2 million shares.

Aphria Inc. (TSX:APH). Healthcare. Up three cents, or 0.25 per cent, to $12.09 on 6.02 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace, rail equipment. Down four cents, or 0.81 per cent, to $4.88 on 5.3 million shares. The Montreal-based company will contribute up to $225 million to the C Series partnership with Airbus even though the agreement giving the European aircraft manufacturer majority control is closing earlier than originally planned. When the agreement was announced last October, Bombardier was required to fund the C Series until closing — forecast sometime in the second half of 2018 — and up to US$700 million in cash shortfalls over the next two years as it ramps up production.

Baytex Energy Corp. (TSX:BTE). Oil and gas. Down 16 cents, or 2.85 per cent, to $5.45 on 4.5 million shares.
