Quentin Rafuse, a 16-year-old who went missing near Fox Point Lake on Tuesday morning, has been located and is safe, says Lunenburg County District RCMP.

Rafuse was reported missing from Simms Settlement in Lunenburg County on July 31.

An extensive ground search by rescue teams and police dogs was undertaken and police asked area residents to check their outbuildings for Rafuse.

“The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and shares and retweets on social media,” said police.
