Halifax Regional Municipality says swimmers can now head to Kinsman Beach.
Earlier, tests at the Lower Sackville swimming spot indicated high bacteria levels in the water, but HRM says follow-up tests show the water is safe again.
The water quality at all supervised and four unsupervised beaches in HRM is regularly tested in the summer months.
As of Friday morning, Birch Cove, Kinap, Black Rock, Dingle and Government Wharf beaches also remain closed.
In addition, a risk advisory for Lake Banook and Lake Micmac remains in effect due to the presence of algae blooms.
HRM is asking the public to avoid swimming, wading or allowing pets in the affected areas until they can confirm it's safe.
Residents can check the status of their favourite municipal beach online.
