Mooseheads top Phoenix 4-2

SHERBROOKE, QC. – The Halifax Mooseheads are back in the win column after picking up a 4-2 victory over the Sherbrooke Phoenix on Saturday night.

The Mooseheads got off to a strong start with Antoine Morand and Raphael Lavoie scoring a pair of goals to put the Herd up 2-0.

After a scoreless second period, Jared McIsaac Marcel Barinka each found the back of Sherbrooke's net to make it 4-0.

Sherbrooke scored two late goals in the third but it wasn't enough as Halifax held on to take a 4-2 win.

The Mooseheads are back in action Sunday when they visit the Drummondville Voltigeurs.
