While investigating Break and Enter, police locate cannabis

Early Sunday morning at 3:18 a.m., Halifax Police responded to a break and enter in progress in the 6100 block of Duncan Street in Halifax.

Officers located and arrested a male and female outside the residence, and while investigating, discovered a large quantity of cannabis plants.

Police arrested tenant for cultivation and the residence has been secured for a Drug Search Warrant.

Police will be investigating, but are looking for the public to come forward with information about the incident.
