DFO spots another entangled North Atlantic Right Whale in Gulf of St. Lawrence
Another entangled North Atlantic Right Whale has been spotted in the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
A Fisheries and Oceans Canada surveillance aircraft spotted the whale yesterday about 90 kilometers north-east of the Magdalen Islands but it's not known when officials will be able to take any action.
the DFO says in a release that due to the remote location of the whale, it will be assessing the options for disentanglement with its partners.
