New Highway 103 interchange to be built near Bridgewater

By Canadian Press

Highway 103 is getting $48.8 million dollars in joint federal-provincial funding for a new interchange project.

The project will see a new interchange between Exits 12 and 13 near Bridgewater.

It includes a new diamond interchange including ramps, roundabouts, bridge and connector roads, along with a realignment of the road through Bridgewater's business park.

Preliminary design work is to begin this fall with construction on the new interchange expected in 2021 and the official opening in 2022.
