Martinique Beach parking lot is full Tuesday afternoon

It appears a lot of people are escaping the heat wave at Nova Scotia's longest beach.

As of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nova Scotia Provincial Parks says the parking lot at Martinique Beach is full.

Drivers are asked to make sure cars aren't left in spots where they would block emergency vehicles from entering and other beachgoers from leaving.
