Fitbit: 2Q Earnings Snapshot

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) _ Fitbit Inc. (FIT) on Wednesday reported a loss of $104.1 million in its second quarter.

On a per-share basis, the San Francisco-based company said it had a loss of 39 cents. Losses, adjusted for pretax expenses and costs related to mergers and acquisitions, were 12 cents per share.

The wearable device maker posted revenue of $261.3 million in the period.

Fitbit shares have dropped slightly more than 2% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Wednesday, shares hit $6.41, more than doubling in the last 12 months.
