Some HRM arenas increasing spectator capacity

HALIFAX REGIONAL MUNICIPALITY

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that there are new changes to arena capacity for spectators at municipally-owned facilities.
The following arenas will be increasing their spectator capacity effective Sunday, Nov. 1 as follows:
- BMO Rink D (100)
- Cole Harbour Place Scotia 1 (85)
- Halifax Forum Arena (100)
- Halifax Civic Arena (75)
- RBC Centre Rink C (100) *effective Nov. 15
- Saint Margaret’s Centre – Fountain (100)
- Zatzman Sportsplex (100)
The following arenas will continue to permit a maximum of 50 spectators. Due to physical capacity and the requirement to physical distance, there will be no increase to these numbers at this time:
- BMO Rinks A, B and C
- Cole Harbour Place Scotia 2 (35)
- Eastern Shore
- LeBrun Arena
- RBC Centre Rinks A, B and D
- Sackville Sports Stadium
- Centennial Arena
- Spryfield Arena
- Saint Margaret’s Centre – Smith
Rental groups will continue to be responsible for COVID-19 screening and tracking of all spectators. No food or drink is permitted, and masks must be worn at all times.
