STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) _ ReneSola Ltd. (SOL) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $2.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Stamford, Connecticut-based company said it had profit of 4 cents. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, were 5 cents per share.
The solar energy company posted revenue of $9.7 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in December, ReneSola said it expects revenue in the range of $23 million to $25 million.
ReneSola shares have increased fivefold since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $7.90, rising fivefold in the last 12 months.
