South End Container Terminal Walkway opens for the season

The next time you head to Point Pleasant Park you'll be able to stroll along the South End Container Terminal Public Walkway.
Those who do so will be greeted by a beautiful view of Halifax Harbour, can watch terminal operations and get a close up view of the massive container ships calling on Halifax.
“The Halifax Port Authority asks everyone to respect fellow walkway users and the environment,” said Port of Halifax spokesperson Lane Farguson in a news release.
“Please be advised that this walkway is not patrolled and that users enter at their own risk.”
Weather and operations permitting, the walkway will stay open until the end of the year.
