Power restored after outage leaves hundreds in the dark on Tuesday morning (update)

UPDATE: Power has been restored. 

Hundreds are without power in Dartmouth on Tuesday morning. 

As of 8:20 a.m. more than 1,600 people were without power in an area stretching from downtown Dartmouth down to Pleasant St. 

The cause of the outage was still being investigated. 

Nova Scotia Power said power would be restored by the noon hour.
