Canada-wide arrest warrant issued in Millbrook homicide

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued in homicide this past summer.

Valdo Pauyo, 27, originally from Montreal, has been charged with second degree murder.

RCMP were called to a home on Glooscap Dr. in Millbrook at around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, July 12.

Arriving officers found the body of a 42-year-old Sipekne'katik man. His death was later ruled a homicide.

Mounties say they have several attempts to locate Pauyo, who sometimes uses the alias “C.J.”.

Police believe he has tried to change his appearance.

Anyone with information is asked to call Northeast Nova RCMP Major Crime at 902-896-5060 or submit an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers.
