28-year-old man found dead inside vehicle near Loon Lake

A 28-year-old man was found dead inside a vehicle near Loon Lake, according to Halifax District RCMP.

At around 10:50 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle on Lake Loon Road near Loon Lake.

“Police located a man deceased in the vehicle,” an RCMP news release says. “Investigators have since deemed the death to be suspicious and do not believe this to be a random act.”

The investigation is currently ongoing and is being supported by the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner's office and the RCMP Forensic Identification Services.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to contact the Halifax District RCMP at 902-420-5020.
