Wildfire burns out of control in Shelburne County

A wildfire burning in Shelburne County is reportedly still out of control at this time.

The Department of Natural Resources says the fire is located in the Little Harbour area and has grown to around 10 hectares in size, and as of 1 p.m. Monday was 25 percent contained.

The most recent update said dozens of volunteer firefighters, and DNR crew were on scene.

The department added there were reports of some evacuations in the area, but no confirmation of damage to any structures.
