Evacuation order lifted near Windsor, N.S. amid flooding

UPDATE: This order was lifted as of 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

Officials in Nova Scotia have issued an evacuation notice near Windsor.

An alert sent to people in the St. Croix river system area said a nearby dam was at risk of breaching.

Windsor Civic Centre at 78 Thomas St, Windsor is available to accept evacuees. The RCMP is helping people in the area.

The area was still under a rainfall warning on Saturday with up to 60mm of rain still in the forecast.
