Canada Post services set to resume after Monday’s shutdown

By CityNews Halifax Staff

Canada Post is getting back on the roads today.

The national postal service says most of its offices are reopening this morning, and it will deliver and collect mail where it is safe to do so.

There is still a yellow alert out for Nova Scotia delivery areas and some regions impacted by flooding may not see mail service.

Canada Post says it continues to assess the situation, with employee safety top of mind.

Canada Post shut down its Nova Scotia offices on Monday in the interest of the safety of its employees as the province continues to recover from significant flooding.
