Halifax Regional Police have laid charges in Wednesday morning’s murder in Spryfield.

Shortly after 2 a.m. on Wednesday, officers were called to a stabbing on Twin Oaks Road where a 32-year-old man was found injured and later died in hospital.

The victim has been identified as Adam Jerome Dempsey.

Police also arrested a man at the scene, and now say 36-year-old Alexander Charles Howe is facing a charge of first-degree murder.

HRP says this isn’t believed to have been a random incident, and police aren’t looking for other suspects.
