Newfoundland man dead after crash near Fall River

The RCMP says a man from Newfoundland is dead after a crash near Fall River on Sunday.

Police say around 11:30 a.m., a Honda Civic went off the road on the 102 in Windsor Junction, ending up in a ditch.

The driver, a 20-year-old Newfoundland man, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was alone in the vehicle.

The highway is reopened at this time, and the Mounties say the investigation is ongoing.
