Attempted murder charge laid after alleged stabbing in Springhill

A man has been arrested after a stabbing in Cumberland County resulted in another man being flown to Halifax to receive care.

The alleged stabbing happened Tuesday night in Springfield. Police said a 52-year-old man was stabbed in a home by someone known to him, and was flown by EHS LifeFlight to a Halifax hospital.

Dravyn Christopher Taylor is now facing charges including attempted murder.

He was expected to appear in court on Wednesday in Amherst.
