Rainfall warning issued for Halifax with heavy rain forecast

You’re going to need an umbrella if you’re heading outside tonight into tomorrow.

A rainfall warning has now been issued for the Halifax area calling for 50 to 60 mm of rain by Thursday.

Environment Canada says the rain will be heavy at times with potential rainfall rates of 10 to 15 mm per hour.

The warning is in effect from Halifax to Guysborough and into Cape Breton.
