Storm closures and cancellations for Monday, Dec. 4

A snowstorm impacting the Halifax area overnight led to many Monday delays. 

Here’s what’s closed. 

SCHOOLS:  Due to inclement weather, all Halifax Regional Centre for Education schools will be closed.

CCRCE, SSRCE, Strait Regional and Digby County schools within the Tri-County Regional Centre for Education are also closed.

Dalhousie University campuses in Halifax and Truro are closed.

King’s College and NSCAD are also closed.

NSCC Ivany, Akerley, Institute of Technology, Annapolis Valley, Amherst, Kingstec, Lunenburg campuses are closed.

SMU campus closed for the rest of the day.

Dartmouth Learning Network is closed today due to weather.

BUSINESSES:  CFB Halifax closed until noon

SERVICES: Municipally-run Recreation Centres will reopen at 4 p.m. Monday.
