Mooseheads rally to take first game of 2024 from Titan

Despite a rough start in the first period, the Halifax Mooseheads caught up and emerged victorious in their first game of 2024, beating Acadie-Bathurst 4-3 at the K.C Irving Regional Centre.

The game included two natural hat tricks with Halifax native, Joseph Henneberry, scoring a three goals in the first period for the Titan.

Markus Vidicek scored a hat trick for the Mooseheads with one goal in the first period and a pair in the second.

Mooseheads’ forward Braeden McPhee potted the winning goal with 5:57 to go in regulation, following up with a quick rebound after a hard drive to the net by David Moravec.

The Herd’s first home game of the year will be played this Saturday night against the Moncton Wildcats.
