HRM’s 311 system restored after technical issue

UPDATE: The municipality said 311 service was restored as of 1:40 p.m. Tuesday.

The Halifax Regional Municipality’s information and service request line went down on Tuesday.

In a post, the municipality said due to a technical issue, its 311 system was unable to receive calls or emails.

“We know many of you are trying to get through to talk about concerns regarding snow removal,” a release said. “Our crews are continuing to work around the clock to clear snow as quickly as possible.”

The municipality said it would advise once the service was restored.
