Grammy Award winner Emmylou Harris to jazz it up in Halifax

A legendary singer-songwriter is coming to town to take part in the 38th annual TD Halifax Jazz Festival.
Organizers have announced Emmylou Harris will be among the talented artists set to join the annual event taking place from July 9 to 14.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner will perform on July 11 playing amongst her catalogue spanning four decades on the Main Stage on the Halifax Waterfront.
Other artists announced for this year’s Halifax Jazz Fest include multi-platinum indie pop group Fitz and the Tantrums and blues rocker, Matt Andersen with The big Bottle of Joy.
Tickets will go on sale 10 a.m. on Friday, March 8 at the TD Halifax Jazz Festival’s website.
