BATHURST, N.B. — Colby Huggan had a hat trick and two assists to lead the Acadie-Bathurst Titan to a 7-2 drubbing of the Halifax Mooseheads on Tuesday in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League playoff action.

Dawson Sharkey, Louis-François Bélanger, Milo Roelens, with a goal and three assists, and Robert Orr also scored for Acadie-Bathurst, which has taken a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven first-round series.

Antoine Keller made 23 saves.

Liam Kilfoil scored twice for Halifax, which got 30 stops from Mathis Rousseau.

The Mooseheads are the second seed in the Eastern Conference, while the Titan are seventh.

BOISBRIAND, Que. — Jonathan Fauchon completed his hat trick with the game-winning goal at 10:22 of the third period as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada edged the Sherbrooke Phoenix 4-3.

Justin Carbonneau scored the game’s opening goal for Blainville-Boisbriand, which avoided a 3-0 deficit.

Maxime Lafond and Peter Repcik also scored for Drummondville, which will look to sweep the Sea Dogs on Wednesday.

Drew Elliott and Pavel Simek replied for Saint John, which got 45 saves from Patrick Leaver.

SHAWINIGAN, Que. — Nathan Darveau earned a 22-save shutout and the Victoriaville Tigres downed the Shawinigan 3-0 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead.

Maxime Pellerin, Maël Lavigne and Eliott Simard scored for Victoriaville.

Mathys Fernandez stopped 23 of 25 shots for Shawinigan, which will look to avoid getting swept on home ice on Wednesday.

GATINEAU, Que. — Jérémie Minville and Mathis Gauthier each had two goals as the Gatineau Olympiques topped the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies 5-2.

Justin Boisselle also scored for Gatineau, which was outscored 6-1 in the first two games of the series, both losses.
