Halifax Regional Police have now charged a fourth person in connection to the brutal killing of a teenager last month.

HRP says investigators arrested the second youth who was previously arrested and released on April 22 in relation to the death of 16-year-old Ahmad Maher Al Marrach.

The 16-year-old youth is scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Justice Court today to face one count of second-degree murder.

Previously, a 16-year-old suspect was also charged with second-degree murder as well as a pair of 14-year-olds, who appeared in youth court to face one count each of second-degree murder on April 26.

Al Marrach was found badly injured in a parking garage at the Halifax Shopping Centre on April 22 and later died in hospital.
