Gasoline and diesel prices see a drop in Nova Scotia

Nova Scotians were handed a break at the pump overnight.

In its weekly adjustment, the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board lowered the price of self-serve regular gas down 4.6 cents to now sit at 179.4 cents per litre.

Diesel also dropping in price to 175.4 cents, which is a decrease of 3.4 cents per litre.

One year ago at this time, gasoline prices were 1.50, and diesel was 1.34.
