Halifax Regional Police have charged two more youths in connection to threats made towards schools in HRM.

On Friday, police charged a 13-year-old youth in connection to threats toward Rocky Lake Junior High School the previous week.

According to HRP, another 13-year-old youth was charged for threats toward Fairview Junior High School earlier this month.

HRP said since April 1, police have received 25 separate incidents where bomb threats have been made towards schools in the region.

Police said the two are scheduled to appear in Halifax Youth Justice Court at a later date to face charges of mischief and uttering threats.

This comes after police charged a 15-year-old youth and a 16-year-old youth in connection to an incident that took place at J.L. Ilsley High School on May 7.

The investigations are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact HRP or Crime Stoppers.
